Limited Scope Retainers ​can help lawyers and their clients better manage the costs of litigation.

This is particularly so in document intensive files, or where the parties have put numerous allegations and issues into play.  It is also true in relation to smaller claims, where proportionality requires that a more streamlined approach be taken.

Although some files will warrant a "no stone unturned" approach, limited scope retainers allow us to work with our clients to assess the true nature of the dispute and perform risk and cost/benefit analyses to leave certain stones untouched.  Although the risk of the unturned stone needs to be managed, the approach allows us to better provide our clients with proportional, more efficient services in appropriate cases.
