Kirk joined the firm as a lawyer and member of the Law Society of Ontario after completing his Articles with the firm. During his time at the firm, he has assisted with a wide variety of matters ranging from complex transportation infrastructure projects to handling actions in the Small Claims Court.
Kirk has been involved with a variety of proceedings including those involving contract claims, liens, delay claims and professional negligence. His experience on these files includes conducting legal research, preparing written submissions, negotiating settlement agreements and attending court.
Prior to joining our firm Kirk obtained his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. During his final year Kirk worked as a Criminal Law Divisions leader at Community & Legal Aid Services Program. In this capacity Kirk regularly defended his clients in the Ontario Court of Justice on an array of charges including fraud, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and criminal harassment.
