Paige Crewson obtained a degree in architecture and worked in building science consulting before and during law school.  She practises both contentious and non-contentious construction law, and has worked in law firms and in-house roles. 

 

Paige has practised law in Canada, the United Kingdom and the Middle East advising on projects across five continents.  Her experience includes advising in the oil & gas, petrochemicals, water, power (energy from waste, nuclear, clean coal, fossil fuels and green energy), marine, manufacturing, health, defence, education sectors, among others.  She has advised clients on matters governed by Canadian, English, New York, Emirati, Omani, Saudi and Iraqi law.

 

While Paige has advised on simple projects and disputes, her depth of experience is with more complex matters.  Some examples of these complexities are first-of-a-kind technologies; highly regulated industries; bespoke commissioning processes; PPP, PFI and non-traditional financing structures; and challenging political context.  Whether advising on a transaction or a dispute, Paige is skilled at distilling complicated concepts into easily understood documents that take practical considerations into account.  She maintains big picture commerciality while focusing on getting the details right.
