Rachel Prestayko
Associate

Before entering the legal profession, Rachel worked as a scientist at a specialty materials research centre, developing materials for printed electronics and other novel print technologies. She is a published co-author in the field of nanotechnology and a co-inventor on five patents.
After articling with a large Bay Street law firm in patent law, and being called to the Bar in 2020, Rachel realized that the combination of her technical and legal background is well suited to the diverse and complex area of construction law. These skills help our clients achieve timely, cost-efficient outcomes.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys curling at the local curling club, reading the latest issue of the Walrus, and spending time with friends and family.
