In many circumstances, it doesn't make sense for our clients to pay for someone on our staff to perform clerk tasks that they or someone in their office could perform, under our supervision, at a fraction of the cost.
We encourage clients to "be their own law clerk", by providing someone to work with us, where ever possible, to perform tasks that would otherwise have to be performed by us at a cost.
This can be particularly helpful where the client can provide someone with a good knowledge of the file, or of the matters at issue in a dispute.
